Above is the cover; below, some shots of the layout from The Wall here at Newsweek world headquarters, courtesy of our lovely and talented art director Lindsay Ballant, who was one of the folks in charge of digging through the archives and resurrecting the magazine’s sharp, spare mid-1960s design.
The issue is available now on the iPad and online, but there’s really only one way to experience it: in print.
Pretend it’s 1965. Visit your local newsstand.
