I’m not angry at my disease anymore, or the hand I was dealt. But I am angry that in our society, it’s acceptable to say mean things about other people’s appearance, especially to their face. It’s not right.

Writer (and tumblr!) Kelly Bergin tells us about her own “puffy-face” saga, after four years on the highly toxic steroid prednisone, and says guys, just stop it with saying mean things about how other people look.
