This is a bummer. Helen Gurley Brown (aka HGB to her friends and colleagues) has died. She was the longtime editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan magazine and a bit of a deity over at Heart Tower (where she “maintains a delightfully incongruous pink corner office,” per Edith Zimmerman’s NYT Magazine piece on the Cosmo empire.). Our thoughts are with our Cosmo friends and all who knew/looked up to HGB.
