There is and will be lots to be said about the Manti Te’o story, but one thing we’ve heard is that fake girlfriends and boyfriends aren’t all that uncommon. Some people make them up because they’re gay and in high school, not ready to come out. Others do it due to family pressure. We’d like to publish a collection of real, honest stories from people who have, at one point in their life, told someone about a significant other who was not real.
