Two times a year the father of the original milk carton kid, 6-year-old Etan Patz, would mail a missing child flyer to the Charles Manson-like Julio Antonio Ramos while he was imprisoned for other crimes, asking him what he did to his little boy. Ramos was never charged. But today it was announced investigators are going to dig up the grounds
around Ramos’s New York City apartment looking for clues in the boy’s 1979 disappearance.
Update: It appears investigators are actually digging for clues related to another suspect, not Ramos, but a construction worker who had befriended Patz. ABC: “The carpenter’s shop was at or near the location of today’s search.”
